Brick Oven Comfort at Trattoria Altrove

There’s something comforting about finding a restaurant that doesn’t try too hard...  it just quietly delivers.

That’s the feeling I got at Trattoria Altrove in Angeles City.

Located along Don Juico Avenue, the space feels warm and relaxed. Rustic interiors, soft lighting, and a charming garden-style area make it easy to settle in. 

I started simple. Burrata, fresh and creamy, paired with ripe tomatoes and good olive oil. No unnecessary extras,  just clean flavors. Then came the pizza. Thin crust, beautifully blistered from the brick oven, slightly charred at the edges with that perfect chew. You can taste the difference when dough is treated properly.

The pasta didn’t disappoint either. Rich sauces, balanced seasoning, and generous portions that don’t feel overwhelming. It’s satisfying without being heavy.

Before settling the bill, I mentioned that I’m a Unity Card Plus member. The staff were familiar with the process, they verified the card first and applied the partner privilege smoothly. No awkward explanations, no complicated steps. Just a straightforward, professional transaction.

To be fair, Trattoria Altrove stands well on its own even without the discount. But if you’re already planning to dine somewhere you genuinely enjoy, getting a little something back makes the experience even better.
